Fluoropolymers and thermoplastic fluoropolymers have excellent properties for tubing solutions. Such properties are: low-friction, chemical resistance, wide temperature service ranges, and electrical insulation properties. Examples of our materials: PTFE, ePTFE, ETFE, FEP, PFA, PVDF and E-CTFE .
Thermoplastic polymers and elastomers offer a wide application range for design projects. These polymers are elastic, biocompatible, transparent, elastic, hard to scratch, high fatigue resistance, and chemically resistant. Examples of polymers in this group: PE, EVA, EMA, EBA, POM, PET, PBT, PC, PA, TPE-E, TPE-A (Pebax), TPE-U (PUR), TPE-O, and TPE-S.
Compounding allows Optinova to enhance the polymer properties and to obtain good and consistent quality. Fillers, additives, and colorants can be incorporated to for example achieve radiopacity.
The production can be performed in cleanroom, when the design specification requires that. Controlling measurements in-line and traceability are key operational processes.
