Production areas
Optinova's production facility consists of semi-detached buildings with a total area of 5.800 m2, of which 2,800 m2 are clean rooms of ISO class 6-8 (Fed.std. 1.000-100.000).
All extrusion and secondary operations until final packaging take place in clean room.

The clean rooms are regularly inspected and controlled by an independent certified authority according to ISO14644-1.
We also have in-house equipment for particle counting.
Environmental monitoring of bacteria and moulds is performed four times a year from the air, surfaces such as benches and floors as well as from the water in the cooling bath. Our records of bacteriological monitoring go back to 1991.
