Materials
Optinova is one of the few companies that process such a wide range of different polymers stretching from the PTFE material over to the commodity material PE. Since we are a contract manufacturer, working according to customer specifications, we are open to work with most extrudable materials, the only real few exceptions being PVC, PEEK, Polyimide and Silicone. The raw materials used are virgin materials selected for medical applications, and are always USP class VI or food contact approved.
The most commonly used materials are fluoropolymers such as PTFE, FEP, ETFE, PFA, and PVDF, thermoplastic polymers such as PE, PP, PA, PET and PC and thermoplastic elastomers such as TPE-U (PUR), TPE-A (Peba) and TPE-E.
